Ways to Give
Your philanthropic partnership with our organization is vital to fulfilling our mission to allow our seniors to thrive, and in some cases, survive. Gifts of any size are greatly valued by PSSI, and help support Platte County's older adults. There are many giving options for you to consider.
For any questions regarding donations or ways to give, please call the PSSI Office at 816-270-4100.
Checks - Please make checks payable to: "Platte Senior Services, Inc." at 11724 NW Plaza Circle, Suite 700, Kansas City, MO 64153.
Credit Card Online Donation -
Monthly automatic withdrawal from bank account or credit card - To enable you to budget your annual giving on a monthly basis, we offer the option for auto-withdrawal from a bank account or credit card. Monthly giving allows PSSI to plan for its programs on an ongoing basis. Please click below for our Automatic Monthly Withdrawal/Charge Form.
Gifts-in-Kind - Gifts-in-kind are accepted on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to see our wish list for in-kind donations, click here.
Corporate Matching Gifts - Many corporations offer matching gift programs to multiply your contribution! Please contact your Human Resources Department for eligibility and matching gift forms.
Gifts of Stock - Gifts of stock may allow you to avoid capital gains tax while providing for our seniors. Please click here to follow the simple two-step process to transfer stock to PSSI.
Gifts of Personal Property (real estate, cars, artwork) - Gifts of personal property are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Deferred Gifts of Bequest by Will, Life Insurance, or Retirement Assets - A deferred gift from your estate will enable senior citizens to be served for decades to come. Simply name Platte Senior Services, Inc. as a beneficiary in your Will, personal insurance policy, or retirement program such as a 401(k). You may designate a specific dollar amount, or a percentage of your estate, to be given to PSSI. You may also specify an PSSI program to which your funds from your estate will be applied; otherwise, PSSI will use your estate funds for the greatest need for our seniors.
Deferred Gifts of Trusts and Gift Annuities - Deferred gifts in the forms of trusts and gift annuities should be crafted with the help of your financial advisors in order to produce the best results for you and PSSI.
Donor Recognition Levels and Societies - PSSI offers its donors many options for annual and deferred giving. Each gift is appreciated, and there is no minimum necessary to help the lives of our older adults. Click below to find the annual fund level to meet your aspirations to help our seniors, and also please consider a deferred gift from your estate to build our endowment for the next generation of older adults.
Naming Opportunities - PSSI pays tribute to donors whose transformational giving enables us to grow now and in the future. In addition to recognition in our annual and deferred giving levels and Societies, PSSI offers the opportunity for you to have your name, or the name of someone whom you wish to honor or memorialize, permanently associated with an PSSI physical space or program. We can suggest naming opportunities, or you may wish to create a special one based on your interests. A combination of current and irrevocable deferred gifts can be used to fund your naming opportunity.
